Silviculture Field Tour of Telephone Gap

Join the U.S. Forest Service, UVM Extension, and the Forest Stewards Guild for a field tour of the Telephone Gap project area in Blue Ridge South.

Participants will examine marked silvicultural prescriptions and engage in discussions on approaches intended to foster old- growth like characteristics, climate adaptation, and other natural resource goals.

This event offers 4.0 Category 1 Continuing Forestry Education (CFE) credits SAF. Certificates will be distributed at the end of the event.

Price: Free

Parking: Park your vehicle behind the Headquarter Office by going through the gate. An attendant will be present to open the gate. Also be prepared to carpool at 9:30 AM and return by 3:15 PM - 3:30 PM.

Lunch: Bring your own food.
