Today’s forest stewards are more diverse than in days past. Ensuring the stewardship of tomorrow's forests means engaging non-traditional audiences as well as the core of the Forest Stewards Guild.

How we engage new stewards

Our programs empower women landowners to care for their land. We connect them to information, resources, and educational programming that builds confidence illuminates their role in forest stewardship.


Rural youth in forest dependent communities strengthen their healthy connections to the land, and build job and life skills through our Forest Stewards Youth Corps programs.



College students in natural resources gain field experience through Guild internships.
