Meeting Location: Roan High Knob Trail Parking Lot, 36.106871, -82.110429
In honor of the two-year anniversary date of Helene, we are gathering with folks from The Nature Conservancy & Appalachian Trail Conservancy at Roan Mountain to see what recovery in action looks like firsthand. Hurricane Helene changed North Carolina’s forests—now it's our turn to shape their future.
We are welcoming Guild members, forestry professionals and students studying forestry to this tour.
